King Charles III has faced a myriad of health issues recently. After his recent health procedure for an enlarged prostate, Buckingham Palace has confirmed that His Majesty is now facing a new health challenge. Per the announcement shared on The Royal Family’s official Instagram, doctors discovered another issue of concern.

The doctors ran tests, which confirmed that King Charles had a form of cancer. His Majesty has now commenced treatments and has been advised by doctors to postpone public-engaging roles. Despite this, he will continue with state affairs and official paperwork.

Per the statement, the King thanked his medical team for their quick initiatives and has remained optimistic about his treatment. He aims to resume full public duty soon. Before making his cancer diagnosis public, King Charles had made personal contact and told Prince William, Prince Harry, and other family members.

King Charles and Queen Camilla appeared in good spirits during a walk in Sandringham, England, following his cancer diagnosis on February 4, 2024. After surgery for benign prostate enlargement and spending three nights at the London Clinic, King Charles was seen leaving the hospital with Queen Camilla. He waved to onlookers as they walked to their car, with the King leaning on it for support.
